An Associate Professor of English at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, Cynthia Leenerts teaches British, postcolonial, and world literatures, as well as courses on linguistics, literary criticism, the graphic novel, biblical literature, and other literary specialties. In addition to other publications (most recently, on graphic novels of the Vietnamese diaspora) she co-edited (with Lopa Basu) Passage to Manhattan: Critical Essays on Meena Alexander (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2009) and (with George Bozzini) Literature Without Borders: International Literature in English for Student Writers (Prentice-Hall, 2001).
